DLF members’ annual investment supports the DLF Forum and other important community events. As an organization whose mission is to serve digital library practitioners, DLF supports meetings and allied events in order to facilitate collaboration, conversation, and innovation all year long. This makes for a more fruitful and vibrant Forum.
In the past year, DLF has contributed to the following activities:
- IdeaDrop House
- Code4Lib Diversity Scholarships
- ER&L Cross Pollinator Scholarships
- LODLAM Summit and Challenge
- 2013 Open Repositories Developer Challenge
- CURATECamp
The DLF community comprises many types of digital library practitioners, from coders to catalogers, archivists to system architects, project managers to digital humanists, data curators to special collection librarians. We recognize that for our community to thrive, we must support a variety of conferences, meetings, summits, and hacks, formal to informal throughout the year. We are proud to be able to play a supporting role for these allied activities.
If you have suggestions for how DLF can support the broader digital library community, please let us know.
