Academic Support Services, Coordinator 2 – Digital Production Manager

The University of Florida Libraries seeks a versatile and energetic Digital Production Manager responsible for strategically managing staff capacities, multiple fund lines and project timelines, and the specialized equipment and resources for the operations of the Digital Library Center (DLC). The Digital Production Manager has oversight of projects and staff in the areas of bibliographic control, imaging/post-capture processing, quality control & structural metadata, audiovisual conversion/formatting, and optical character recognition/metadata enhancement/archiving. Makes project level decisions in collaboration with the Head of Digital Services, and works closely with external and internal clients to ensure an appropriate flow of materials. Manages digitization processes and services and advises customers on technical specifications.
