The Project
  • To demonstrate a pilot digital preservation system that is seamlessly integrated with an existing video production pipeline – the Conversations with History production.

Goals
  • Make the preservation system as a reconfigurable workflow system that can be adapted to other video production systems
  • Minimally disrupt the video production system while integrating with the digital preservation workflow
  • Conform to standardized practices in digital archival preservation (SIP/AIP framework, metadata standards)
  • Capture all legacy information into the archival framework.
